Ian Murray is a qualified dispensing optician and contact lens practitioner and since joining the practice in 1995, has become probably the most “well-kent face” on the shop floor. He previously managed the Dundee branch of Dollond and Aitchison and specialises in the provision of contact lenses. Outside the practice he is a keen golfer.
Roderick Foster joined Norman Salmoni as a newly qualified dispensing optician in 1988 and since the retirement of Bill Suttie has taken over the mantle of chief glazer. He has proved to be a more than adequate replacement which allows many spectacles to be produced in-house.
Stacey Holden qualified as a dispensing optician in 2004. Her background was with Dollond and Aitchison where she most recently managed their St Andrews branch. Stacey is a people person and strives to provide excellence in customer service.
Alan Pattinson is our visiting Contact Lens specialist and is available by appointment. Alan has been visiting the practice for well over 20 years and has become a familiar face.
Together the reception staff provide the welcoming and knowledgeable face of Norman Salmoni Opticians. Sheila Macpherson is a receptionist who joined the practice in 2004 from a background in banking.
Anne Mackenzie also works in reception and joined in 1992 from the Royal Bank of Scotland.
