FBDO – Dispensing Optician

Roderick was born in Ireland, qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 1988 and thus moved to Scotland where he instantly started work in Norman Salmoni at our original premises in South street, Perth.  Roderick is our main lab technician and has perfected the role over many years, he has an invaluable wealth of optical knowledge and practical experience.Salmoni opticians has always felt like Roderick’s second family, he enjoys the camaraderie and support of his colleagues as well as the diverse patient base, with whom he feels it is a privilege to help and advice.Roderick is married to Diane and they have two sons Ryan and Liam.  His hobbies include clay pigeon shooting, fly fishing and spending quality time with family.
